Dabur Pharma to sell Paclitaxel injections in US

New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI) Dabur Pharma today said it will sell Paclitaxel nanoparticle injections, used in the treatment of cancer, in the US market by month-end.

''We have received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration,'' said Dabur Pharma Chairman Anand C Burman here.

The company also announced the launch of Nanoxel -- a noble drug delivery system for the widely used anti-cancer drug, paclitaxel -- for the Indian market.

The drug will be available for sales in the US and European market in the coming 18-36 months. The price of this will stand at around Rs 16,000 for one cycle of themotherapy administration, Mr Burman added.
