Constables guilty of looting passengers line - attached

Shahdol, MP, Jan 4 (UNI) Two Government Railway Police constables accused of looting passengers have been line-attached, the police said.

The order was issued against constables Gajendra Shukla and Arun Tiwari after a preliminary inquiry.

On January 2, the accused looted Rs 10,000 on the Chirmiri-Damoh Shuttle train from labourers hailing from Chhattisgarh. A dispute ensued and the constables were thrashed by the passengers who later damaged a GRP station.
