4 wanted miscreants held

Agra, Jan 4 (UNI) A history-sheeter along with his three associates was arrested in this district of Uttar Pradesh yesterday police said today.

When the police intercepted some suspected people in Kalvari, they tried to escape. On being challenged, the criminals opened fire.

However, police managed to nab a notorious criminal Bhupendra Singh with his three associates last night.

As many as 18 cases of loot, murder and abduction were pending against Bhupendra. Two years back, the accused had abducted and killed a trader in Etawah.

A case was registered and a hunt was on to arrest his other accomplices.
