Youth arrested for driving car in drunken state

New Delhi, Jan 3 (UNI) The Delhi Police today arrested a youth who hit seven persons, including three women, while driving a car in a drunken state in the Dilshad garden area of East Delhi.

The seven persons, who included a TSR driver and some people soaking in the Sun at O Block of Dilshad Garden were injured after Madhu, driving in a drunken state, hit them with his Santro car at 1515 hours, police said.

The injured were admitted to the GTB hospital with minor injuries but were released after initial treatment, police said.
