Six people killed in road accident

Hubli, Jan 3 (UNI) Six people died on the spot when an autorickshaw in which they were travelling was hit by a truck here last night, police said today.

Police said the accident occurred when a lorry hit an electric pole and dashed against the three wheeler.

While five of the deceased have been identified, one person is yet to be ascertained, police said.

The lorry driver who was injured in the accident has been admitted to a local hospital.
