Six people die in road accidents

Hubli, Jan 3 (UNI) Six people died on the spot when an autorickshaw in which they were travelling was hit by a truck here last night.

Police said accident occurred when the lorry hit an electric pole and dashed against the three wheeler.

While five deceased people have been identified, the name of the sixth person is yet to be ascertained police said.

The lorry driver who was injured in the mishap has been admitted to a local hospital.
