Ram Naik condemns central govt's advertisement
Mumbai, Jan 3 (UNI) Former Union minister and BJP leader Ram Naik today lodged a complaint with the state election commissioner Nand Lal, taking objection to the central government's advertisement about Prime Minister's new 15 point programme for minority welfare.
Mr Naik alleged that these schemes were announced keeping in mind the upcoming corporation elections.
In a release here, he said that incidentally Minority welfare minister A R Antulay belongs to Maharashtra.
In another complaint, Mr Naik raised objections about the video shooting of BJP workers meeting at Kandivali by officials of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation as it was a private meeting.
He said the video shooting of party's public meetings could be done but not of private meetings.
Mr Nand lal assured Mr Naik that he would look into both the complaints.
