Police registers case against Geelani in Jammu

Jammu, Jan 3: Amid huge protest, the Jammu and Kashmir police have registered a case, under various sections, against hardliner separatist leader Sayed Ali Shah Geelani for preaching secessionism on Eid-ul-Azha police said here today.

Police said a case has been registered against Hurriyat leader and others for preaching secessionism on Eid-ul-Azha at Sheedhi Chowk on Monday.

Activist of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena and other organisation staged demonstration at various parts of the city shouting slogans against J&K administration who, allegedly have been patronizing anti-national forces.
