Police recovers one more body

Panaji, Jan 3 (UNI) Police today recovered the third body of of the three students from Nagaland, who drowned in the sea at the Colva beach in South Goa on Monday.

Police said the bodies of the two deceased, identified as Zajamo, 22 and Ajungla, 23, were recovered yesterday, while the third deceased, identified as Vilasieto, 21, was recovered today.

All the three bodies of the students have been handed over to their professors who stayed back after the accident. The bodies were flown to Nagaland today, police said.

A 54-member group, comprising 49 students and five professors, of the Nagaland Agricultural University had arrived in Goa to take part in the New Year festivities. On Monday evening, the group went to Colva beach, where some students ventured into the sea. A sudden strong under current drowned three of them, police added.
