One arrested, weapons seized

Mumbai, Jan 3 (UNI) City police arrested one person and seized a German-made revolver and two live cartridges, near Shahajav restaurant, Sion in northcentral Mumbai.

Police said the weapon was seized yesterday from one Satyavan Maruti Ghadigaokar (42), resident of Dahisar in western suburb, while he was on way to meet his friend at a hotel in Sion.

Police have registered a case against him under the Arms Act.
