Mercury dips to
Bhopal, Jan 3 (UNI) Most regions of Madhya Pradesh had respite from biting cold except the Chambal region where mercury dipped by four degree Celsius due to chilly northwestern winds.
Khajuraho recorded lowest temperature at seven deg C overnight, while a temperature of 10.6 deg C, half a degree less than normal, was recorded in the state capital.
A minimum of nine deg C was recorded in Gwalior division of Chambal region.
Minimum temperature recorded at other places were: Tikamgarh (8 deg), Ujjain (9), Raisen (9), Indore (9), Gwalior (9) and Satna (9).
A dry weather was forecast in the next 24 hours.
