Madras, Mangalore Varsities enter quarters in Kabaddi tourney

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 3 (UNI) University of Madras, Chennai and Mangalore University entered the quarter-finals of the South-West Zone Inter-University Kabaddi Women tournament played at Acharya Nagarjuna University campus here this evening.

In the pre-quarters, Madras University trounced RSTM Nagpur University, 24-12, while Mangalore University beat Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunalveli, 51-26.

Kuvempu University demolished Osmania University, 29-23 and Andhra University beat Bangalore University, 29-14 to find a berth in the quarter-finals.
