Madras, Bangalore Universities enter pre-quarter finals

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 3 (UNI) University of Madras and Bangalore University entered the pre-quarter finals of the South-West Zone Inter-University Kabaddi Women Tournament held at Acharya Nagarjuna University campus here today.

In the third round matches, while Madras University defeated S K University, Ananthapur 39-10, Bangalore University outplayed Madurai Kamaraj University 26-17.

In other matches, Osmania University defeated SNDT University, Mumbai 50-21 and Mangalore University defeated Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad 91-21.
