Hyderabadis support Sultans
Hyderabad, Jan 3 (UNI) People came together to support Hyderabad Sultans and expressed their wishes to bring back the PHL Trophy they won in the inaugural edition of the hockey tournament at Hyderabad a couple of years ago.
The Hyderabad Sultans support event organised by Big 92.7 FM radio had attracted several international players and coaches.
The road show organised at EAT STREET by Big 92.7 FM was a unique one with Sultan's first and second editions' coaches Narender Pal Singh and Madukaran cheering for the success of Hyderabad Sutlans under triple Olympian Mukesh Kumar.
Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh Chairman M S Raj Thakur, former hockey international players including Bheem Singh, Chandan Singh, Veersingh, twin sisters Bhavana and Chaitanya who won Asian and Commonwealth chess medals, Madhukar Yadav, the Asian and SAF games gold medalist in Kabaddi and Vikesh Kumar, Rajener, Anitha and B Geetha, members of the Sepak Takra team that took part in the Doha Asian Games and their coach Srinivasa Rao all spoke of their support for Hyderabad Sultans and about revival of India's national game.
