GITEX India 2007 to be organised from January 9

Hyderabad, Jan 3: Information Technology and Communications (IT and C) Department in association with Dubai World Trade Centre will organise the Andhra Pradesh IT mega event GITEX-India, 2007 here from January 9 to 11.

The event targets an exhibition with over 150 exhibitors and 15,000 trade and business visitors and expects to strike viable business deals, foreign tie-ups and investment collaborations, according to an oficial release.

Coinciding with GITEX India the Electronic and Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) of India in association with AP State IT and C department will organise its seventh edition of Indiasoft for the first time in the city at the same venue.

State Minister for IT Ms P Sabitha Reddy yesterday launched the Balloon of GITEX-India 2007 to officially mark the starting of the celebrations.
