GEI Hamon bags Rs 23 cr order from Jaypee

Mumbai, Jan 3 (UNI) GEI Hamon Industries, a leader in heat transfer technology, has bagged an order worth Rs 23 crore from Jaypee Associates for their captive power plants.

Informing the BSE, the company said the order is one of the nine orders bagged in this quarter, driving the order book position of the company to Rs 112 crore as against Rs 45 crore as on December 30, 2005.

The order is based on the successful completion and performance of the first set of air cooled steam condensers designed, manufactured, supplied and commissioned by GEI Hamon Industries in 2003.

GEI Hamon has also bagged order worth Rs 25 crore from Larsen&Toubro for design and supply of high pressure duplex stainless steel air cooled heat exchangers for off-shore platform for VEDP project of ONGC Limited and an order worth Rs 30.5 crore from Toyo Engineering India, Mumbai, for supply of glycol-water heaters for Petronet LNG Limited project in the same quarter.
