GEI bags Rs 23 cr order from Jaypee Associates

New Delhi, Jan 3 (UNI) GEI Hamon Industries Ltd, one of the leading companies in heat transfer technology, has bagged an order worth Rs 23 crore from Jaypee Associates Ltd for their captive power plants.

The order includes completion and performance of the first set of Air Cooled Steam condensers designed, manufactured, supplied and commissioned by GEI Hamon in 2003.

This order is one of the nine others bagged in this quarter driving the company's order book position to Rs 112 crore as against Rs 45 crore as on December 30, 2005.

Recently the company bagged order worth Rs 25 crore from Larsen&Toubro Ltd for design and supply of High pressure Duplex Stainless Steel Air cooled heat exchangers for off-shore platform for VEDP project of ONGC Ltd and Rs 30.5 crore order from Toyo Engineering India Ltd, Mumbai, for supply of glycol-water heaters for Petronet LNG Ltd Project.

GEI Hamon is the first in India to supply the high pressure Duplex stainless steel air cooled heat exchangers for an off-shore platform.

GEI's clientele include BHEL, IOCL, GAIL, HPCL, BPCL, Reliance Petroleum, ONGC, General Electric (US), Samsung, Daelim and LG, (Korea), CCC Oman, Toyo Engg India, Larsen&Toubro and many others in India and abroad.
