Panaji, Jan 3 (UNI) Fog-induced delayed arrivals and departures of flights from different destinations has led to overcrowding of passengers at Dabolim terminal in Goa.

Meanwhile, the ban on entry of visitors at the airport premises will be lifted only after relaxation of passengers' backlog at the terminal.

The Airport Authority of India (AAI) had imposed a ban on visitors entering the airport terminal building as a security measure.

Dabolim Airport Director Mr D Paul Manickam told UNI today, ''We will review the situation soon but at present we are busy in handling the passengers at the terminal.'' On an average 4,000 passengers arrive in Goa every day from different places in the 35 scheduled flights and weekly 52 to 60 Charter flights. The maximum number of weekly charter flights are operated on Sundays and Fridays, he added.
