Crime and corruption increased in J'khand in Koda regime: Mehta
Hazaribagh, Jan 3 (UNI) CPI's state secretary Bhuvneshwar Mehta today alleged that the law and order situation in Jharkhand worsened during the UPA-backed Madhu Koda regime in comparison to the erstwhile NDA government in the state.
Talking to reporters here Mr Mehta said people had expected that the Koda government would check migration of labourers to other states and stop corruption, extremism and criminal activities. But those things had increased during the new regime, the CPI leader claimed.
Mr Mehta alleged the government was persuing lackadaisical attitude over implementing the National Rural Employment Gurantee Scheme, adding, only four per cent of work was done so far.
He said minerals like iron and coal were being smuggled out of state but the government was being in transfer and posting only.
