Congress' brainstorming session from tomorrow
Hyderabad, Jan 3 (UNI) The ruling Congress in Andhra Pradesh will hold a brainstorming session 'Medha Madhanam' for two days from tomorrow to review the party's functioning and its performance during the last two and a half years in office.
The session under the supervision of AICC General Secretary and Andhra Pradesh in-charge Digvijay Singh would discuss threadbare various issues confronting the state, including the party's defeat in the Karimnagar Lok Sabha by-polls, party sources said.
The meeting, which would be attended by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, PCC K Keshava Rao, former Chief Ministers, former MPs, MPs, legislators and party state functionaries, would prepare an agenda for the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, they said.
The party, which was harping on formation of the second States Reorganisation Commission to decide the Telangana issue, was expected to give a clear signal to party cadre in the state on Telangana.
