Cong Govt to adhere to Girglani report: CM

Hyderabad, Jan 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said his Government would implement GO 610 and Girglani Commission in 'letter and spirit without any further delay'.

At a review meeting, he directed heads of various departments to get staff position latest by the third week of this month, an official release here tonight said.

The report would be reviewed by the Group of Ministers and updated after seeking any clarifications, it said. The final list and position should be ready by this month end to enable the Government to implement GO 610 on locals being employed in their own regions.

Cabinet Ministers D Srinivas (Rural Development), Jana Reddy (Home), K Ranga Rao (Municipal Administration), J C Diwakar Reddy (Panchayatraj), Reddya Naik (Social Welfare) and Chief Secretary J Harinayarana were among those who attended the high-level meet.
