Children's Film Festival begins
Tiruchirapalli, Jan 3 (UNI) A ten-day Children's Film Festival organised by the Children's Film Society of India and the Department of Information and Publicity, began here today.
Five films 'Baalya Methai', 'Thubashi', 'Thannambikkai', 'Achchmillai' and 'Helo' would be screened in 22 theatres in this district.
District Collector Ashish Vachchani, who inaugurated the festival, said over 5000 students, from 72 schools, were expected to view films with a nominal fee of Rs five.
To encourage film analysis skills among children, the district administration would award medals for the best three film reviews.
