Bihar Shools to close for 4 days due to cold wave
Patna, Jan 3 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today ordered vacation of all schools for four days beginning tomorrow in view of severe cold wave sweeping across the state.
Mr Kumar said the decision of vacation of schools was taken to protect the students from the biting cold of the winter.
He said directive had been issued to all district magistrates to ensure the closure of the schools during this period.
The weathermen, however, stated the mercury recorded a minimum of 9.0 degrees celsius in Patna during the last twenty four hours although chilly winds continued to blow.
