Actor Dara Singh refutes media reports of joining Congress

Mumbai, Jan 3 (UNI) Veteran actor and Rajya Sabha member Dara Singh has refuted media reports that he is joining the Congress.

Talking to UNI here, Singh said he was inundated with calls from Punjab and Delhi after several newapapers in North India carried the story alony with his photograph.

''From what I gather, the person who is joining the Congress is Dara Singh Chauhan from Samajwadi party and I have nothing to do with him,'' he added.

Dara Singh is the President's nominee to the Rajya Sabha and is associated with the BJP.
