Rajnath, Uddhav to launch SS-BJP campaign for Mumbai civic polls

Mumbai, Jan 2 (UNI) Sena Working President Uddhav Thackeray and BJP President Rajnath Singh will launch the saffron combine's joint campaign for the February 1 Mumbai civic election, this Saturday.

Both Mr Thackeray and Mr Singh will address a public meeting at Acharya Atre Maidan, Pant Nagar, Ghatkopar (East) in North East Mumbai at 1800 hrs on January 6. Ghatkopar is the Assembly constituency of Mumbai BJP President Prakash Mehta, and has been a traditional stronghold of the BJP and the Shiv Sena. Sena-BJP leaders will be present at the Ghatkopar meeting, Newly appointed Shiv Sena spokesperson Neelam Gorhe said.

On Friday, January 5, Mr Thackeray will address a public meeting in Thane and a CD (Shiv Sene che Thane) will be launched. Senior Sena leaders will attend the meeting, she added.
