Ten agitators, 3 cops injured in Collectorate seige

Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 30 (UNI) Ten activists of CPI (ML-New Democracy) were injured in lathicharge and three police personnel were injured in a clash when the Left activists laid siege to the Collectorate in the district today.

Police said the activists staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate, demanding that the government release funds and construct the Dummugudem project immediately.

Police resorted to lathicharge when the agitators refused to come out of the office premises. Three police personnel suffered minor injuries in the clash.
