30,000 to participate in Nithyananda Swami Jayanthi
Bangalore, Dec 30: More than 30,000 devotees are expected to take part in the two-day 30th Jayanthi celebrations of Paramahamsa Sri Nithyananda Swami, to be held here from tomorrow.
The healing swamiji's followers from India and abroad would participate in the Kumbabhisheka to be performed by the seer on his 30th birthday. During the function, spiritual leaders of various mutts would inaugurate the Sri Anandeshwar Temple and Nityananda Dhyanapeetam Ashram in Columbus in the US, Namakkal and Kancheepuram in neighbouring Tamil Nadu.
Besides, Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi would inaugurate Nithyananda Vedic Agricultural Society, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy would launch social services, including free meals, free tuition and computer classess for students below the poverty line, Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa would inaugurate the Hindu Temple Arts Preservation and Research Society and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi would release books in seven international languages.
The Swamiji had set up 78 ashrams in 38 countries. The US Government had released a special stamp in honour of Nithyananda Swami on the occasion of his 30th birthday.
