Sugar prices eases on the absence of fresh demand

Mumbai, Dec 29 (UNI) Sugar prices eased today on absence of fresh demand, traders at the Bombay Sugar Merchants' Association said.

Prices of sugar in small and medium grade declined by Rs 23 and Rs 18 per quintal respectively, due to thin buying support.

Ex-mill small grade and medium grade also eased by Rs 10 and Rs 40 per quintal due to sluggish demand by stockist.
