Rastogi to meet Korean Nam in ITF singles final
New Delhi, Dec 29 (UNI) Davis Cupper Karan Rastogi outclassed Bulgarian Todor Enev 6-3, 6-2 in the semi-finals to set up the summit clash with Hyun-Woo nam of Korea in the ITF Men's Futures tennis tournament here today.
The fourth seeded Indian took control of the match from the start and did short work of his unseeded opponent to move into the title round in style.
In another semi-final, Nam continued his giant-killing spree to beat top seed Alexey Kedriouk of Kazakhstan 7-5, 6-1. The unseeded Korean had beaten seventh seeded Xavier Pujo of France and third seeded Aisam Qureshi of Pakistan en-route to the semi-final before toppling Kedriouk today.
Meanwhile, in the doubles final today, Enev and Hiroki Kondo of Japan beat Indo-Kazakh duo of Kedriouk and Sunil Kumar Sipaeya 6-3, 6-1 to win the title.
The singles final will played tomorrow.
