D'Souza for revamp of Regional Plan 2011
Panaji, Dec 29 (UNI) Goa Deputy Chief Minister Wilfred D'Souza today said that the controversial Goa Regional Plan 2011 should be scrapped and redone with the help of experts.
''Though the plan is open for objection, something very wrong is happening which must stop and go for the 2001 plan till the new plan is passed,'' Dr D'Souza told reporters here.
''We must listen to the people of the state and respond to their needs,'' he added.
The Deputy Chief Minister was accompanied by the Archbishop of Goa and Daman and Patriarch of the East Indies, Rev Filipe Neri Ferrao at the programme.
