Cotton worth Rs 2.5 crore burnt in Trident godown

Sangrur, Dec 29 (UNI) Cotton worth Rs 2.5 crore was burnt in a devastating fire which broke out in the godown of Trident Industries here this afternoon.

Fire tenders from different places were rushed to the site but the flames had already done the damage by the time they reached.

The loss worth Rs 2.5 crore has been ascertained by the company's executive manager Rupinder Gupta.
