Block at Naigon by Western Railway between January 1 and 2

Mumbai, Dec 29 (UNI) The Western Railway will be operating a major block at Naigaon as part of quadrupling work on a warfooting between Borivali and Vasai, said a press release here.

The work will commence from midnght of January 1 and go on till 0500 hrs of January 2, 2007.

The block is being undertaken for commissioning of new down local line and platform number one at Naigaon.

During the block period, all trains will be running on Up line between Bhayander and Vasai. The train leaving for Virar from Andheri at 1635 hrs will remain cancelled during the block period.

ALso Virar Down leaving from Churchgate at 2315 hrs will remain partially cancelled between Bhayander and Virar. The trains will also be delayed due to operation of only one line during the block.
