AP Govt to make Urdu official language in 2 more districts
Hyderabad, Dec 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Cabinet today decided to make Urdu the second official languauge in Karimnagar and Nalgonda districts, as well Talking to newspersons here after the Cabinet meeting, Revenue Minister D Prasada Rao said, with this, Urdu would become the second official language after Telugu in 15 districts.
Mr Rao said the Cabinet gave its approval to amend the Andhra Pradesh Official Languauges Act, 1966 suitably.
