AIIMS employee arrested for duping people on pretext of getting jobs
New Delhi, Dec 29 (UNI) Bringing an end to the 'part-time career' of arranging jobs for visitors to the hospital, police have arrested an attendant of the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here who duped several people of lakhs.
Vibhuti Pandey, a Grade III hospital attendant at AIIMS outdoor patient department, was arrested on a complaint of a victim who was duped of nearly rupees two lakh for getting him employed at the hospital, according to the police.
After months of dithering when he failed to provide employment to the victim, as promised, the police was informed.
The accused would befriend relatives of patients while working at the hospital OPD and later visit their homes and offer to get them employed at AIIMS.
After investigations began six other similar complaints about him poured him which made the arrest of the accused, who had made duping a second career, easier, police added.
