55 takeN ill after food poisoning in Buldhana

Nagpur, Dec 29 (UNI) As many as 55 people fell ill after they had dinner during an engagement party and complained of vomiting and nausea in Mahodari village of Buldhana district in Vidarbha region.

All of them were admitted to a hospital in Mehkar early today and 15 of them have been discharged, Buldhana district Additional Superintendent of Police Sudhir Dabharde told UNI over telephone.

All of them were out of danger, he said.

Mr Dabharde said the police had taken samples of the food that the guests consumed last night.
