32, including 10 women, injured in fog-related accidents

Phagwara, Dec 29 (UNI) At least 32 people, including ten women, were injured in two road accidents due to dense fog that enveloped the entire region today reducing visibility.

Seveteen persons sustained injuries in a pile-up accident involving six vehicles including four cars and two trucks near Jamalpur on the National Highway during fog today.

Fifteen persons, including 10 women, were injured when a Toyota Qualis and one Tavera collided on Mehtan by-pass during fog today.

Poor visibility caused by thick fog was the major cause of the road mishaps, police said.

All injured were admitted in nearby hospitals, it added.
