YPS beats Sachin Club by 22 runs in Dhruve Pandove tournament

Patiala, Dec 28 (UNI) Yadavindra Public School defeated Sachin Cricket Club, Bathinda, by 22 runs in the 6th Dhruv Pandove Memorial Cricket Tournament here today at the YPS ground in a close match.

Winning the toss and batting first, YPS scored 121 for 8 in the allotted 35 overs. Rajeshwar and Munish top scored with 26 runs.

For Sachin Cricket Club, Arjun Singh bowled exceedingly well to capture four wickets conceding only 14 runs.

In reply, Sachin Cricket Club were all out for 99 runs in 31.3 overs. Navkaran was the only batsman who played with great confidence, scoring 24 runs. For YPS, Harkirat Singh bowled a nagging length to bag 5 for 16, while Rajeshwar took 2 for 14.

Yesterday, Black Elephant Cricket Club had defeated DCA, Panchkula by 30 runs.

Tomorrow, Black Elephant will play against Black Elephant Cricket Club in a crucial match at the Army ground.
