TN, Karnataka win in hockey tourney

Thalassery, Kerala, Dec 28 (UNI) Tamil Nadu beat Hyderabad by a solitary goal while defending champions Karnataka defeated Andhra by an identical margin at the 19th South Zone Senior Men's Hockey Championship here today.

Tamil Nadu's Madhu Selvam scored in the 65th minute of the game through a penalty corner. India player Adam Sinclair played a good game for Tamil Nadu with attacking moves.

In the second match, Karnataka's K T Dinesh scored in the 30th minute through a field goal.
