Portuguese President Silva to visit Goa

Panaji, Dec 28 (UNI) Porgugal's President Republic, Prof Cavaco Silva will be on a two-day state visit to Goa from January 13 next year.

The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) in a press release issued here, today said that Prof Silva will be addressing the memebers of the GCCI on Janaury 13 at Dona Paula. His visit aims at promoting and strengthening economic ties between Goa and Portugugal.

The President will be accompanied by the Portuguese Minister of Economy and Innovation- Dr Manuel Pinho, President of the Portuguese Investment and foreign trade Agency- AICEP Dr Basilio Horta and other dignitaries.

In addition, a delegation of sixty businessmen from Portugal, interested in trade links with Goan businessmen, will accompany them.
