Orissa got two points after drawn match against J
Cuttack, Dec 28 (UNI) The Orissa-Jammu Kashmir Ranji trophy match ended in a tame draw today with Orissa batting throughout the day and scoring 281 for four on the concluding day at the Barbati Stadium here.
Orissa bagged two points by virtue of their first innings lead of 354 runs.
With no intention of going for an outright victory,the match turned dull and Orissa batsmen continued to pile up runs. Niranjan Behera and Subit Biswal failed short of their centuries when they were out for 97 and 95 runs respectively.
For Jammu and Kshmir Abid Nabi claimed two wicket while Sameer Khajuria and Hardeep Singh took one wicket each.
Orissa, wanted to remain second in the league table rather than topping the points and facing Railways.
