NTPC to develop 2x250 MW power plant in Sri Lanka

New Delhi, Dec 28 (UNI) State-owned power major National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) will tomorrow sign an agreement with the Sri Lankan Government and Ceylon Electricity Board for development of a 2X250 MW coal-based power project at Trincomalee.

The project would be developed through a joint venture company between the company and Ceylon Electricity Board.
