Militants have 26 camps in Bangladesh: CM
Agartala, Dec 28 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has alleged that various banned militant outfits active in the state have 26 camps in Bangladesh.
While addressing the jawans of 135 battalion of the BSF at Silachari BOP yesterday, Mr Sarkar said the militants were hampering development in the state.
Mr Sarkar, on a hectic tour, visited remote parts of south Tripura bordering Chittagong hill tracts in Bangladesh.
He said, ''Militants were getting support from ISI. But after the completion of 660 kms long fencing along the border, the overall situation will improve.'' UNI XC JYN YA DB1032
