Judicial custody of Malegaon blast accused extended to Jan 11
Mumbai, Dec 28 (UNI) A special MCOCA court today extended the judicial custody of nine accused in Malegaon blast case till January 11.
Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) judge M R Bhatkar extended further the judicial custody of Noorul Huda Samsudoha, Shabir Ahmed Masiullah, Rais ahmed Razaq Ali Mansuri, Salman Farsi Abdul Latif Aimi, Faruq Iqbal Ahmed Magdumi, Shaikh Mohd Ali Alam Shaikh, Asif Khan Bashir Khan Junaid, Mohd Zahid Abdul Majid Ansari and Abrar Ahmed Ghulam Ahmed.
The prosecution has already filed chargesheet against the accused persons under various sections of MCOC Act, IPC, Indian Explosive Act, Explosives Substances Act, Criminal Law Amendment Act and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Three blasts had occurred on September 8 this year in and around a mosque at Malegaon in Nasik district which had killed 31 people and injured more than 300 others.
