Inculcate values to become good citizens: Mein

Itanagar, Dec 28 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Research and Education Minister Chowna Mein today called upon the younger generation to inculcate values to become good human beings and utilise their energy for meaningful purpose.

Addressing at a District level Tritya Sopan preparatory camp of Bharat scout and guides at Pali Vidyapith of Tezu in Lohit district yesterday, the Minister said, ''Arunachalees should be prepared for competition in a globalised scenario. Physical, mental and spiritual development are required in the formative years.

Expressing deep concern over the drug menace, he said,''Police, administrators, technocrats, academicians and all other citizens should come together to stop it.'' Lauding the role of Scout and NSS, he said they should be active in the districts to employ the young minds in all fruitful purposes.
