Hindustan Construction bags Rs 275cr order from NHAI
New Delhi, Dec 28 (UNI) Infrastructure development company, Hindustan Construction Company Ltd today said it has secured a Rs 275 crore highway development project from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract involves design, construction, development, finance, operation and maintenance of NH-7 in Andhra Pradesh under North-South Corridor (NHDP Phase II).
The semi-annuity amount to be received from the contract bagged on built-operate-transfer (BOT) basis will be Rs 23.80 crore which will be paid over next 18 years (36 installments) excluding the construction period of two years.
The company's order book has more than doubled over last one year with projects secured across diverse sectors like transportation, nuclear and hydro power generation, water supply and irrigation.
The current order book position involves 45 per cent of the power projects, 40 per cent of the transportation projects, 12 per cent water and environment project and three per cent other projects.
