Defence Minister to visit South Air Command HQ
Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 28: Defence Minister A K Antony will visit the headquarters of Southern Air Command here on December 31.
This would be his first visit to the Southern Air Command after assuming charge as the Defence Minister.
A guard of honour would be given to the Defence Minister on his arrival at the headquarters building of the Command at Akkulam.
Air Marshal P S Ahluwalia, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command, would give a presentation to the minister about the present and futuristic role of the Command, A Defence press here today said.
Mr Antony would also interact with all Air Warriors of the Command, the release added.
