Balan-Meenakshi pair in doubles finals

Indore, Dec 28 (UNI) The Aparna Balan-B R Meenakshi and V Ruth Misha-Soumya Padhye pairs reached the women's doubles finals of the All India Senior Major Ranking Badminton Tournament here today.

In the semis, Balan-Meenakshi humbled Barnali Raha-Amrita Mukherjee Duo 21-10, 21-11 while Misha-Padhye vanquished Deepti Shalini-Deepti Priyadarshini 21-16, 21-12.

In the mixed doubles, Balan-Roopesh Kumar beat P Jyotsna-Vineet Manuel 21-9, 21-17 for a finals berth. Priyadarshini-Jayan James got a walkover against Krishna Dekaraja-S Thomas.
