APPDEA appeals farm consumers, political parties to cooperate
Hyderabad, Dec 28 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Power Diploma Engineers' Association (APPDEA) today appealed to the agriculturists and political parties to cooperate with the bottom-level officers and allow them to serve and distribute the available energy in the best possible manner.
Association Secretary General P Beesi Reddy, in a statement said damaging the properties of power utility would only cause hardship to the consumers.
He urged the field officers and workers to strive hard and make themselves available at their work spot round-the-clock to meet any contingency and avoid interruption of power at their level.
The power utility had failed to assess the requirement of agricultural consumption and was unable to meet the assured supply to the consumers, particularly in upland areas of the state, resulting in damage to crops.
