Temperatures normal over most parts of the country

Pune, Dec 27 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in south interior Karnataka and above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and in some parts of Haryana, Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Manipur, West Bengal, Sikkim, Saurashtra, Kutch, Vidarbha, Telangana, Orissa and eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Temperatures were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow is likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu&Kashmir, Besides, rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala.

Rain or snow have occured at many places in Jammu&Kashmir and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh.

Very light rain or snow have occured at isolated places in Uttaranchal.

Very light rain has occurred at isolated places in Punjab, eastern Rajasthan, western Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

Rain or thundershowers have occured at a few places in Haryana.

By and large dry weather prevailed over Uttar Pradesh, western Rajasthan, eastern Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh Karnataka and Kerala.
