Six Ultras nabbed from a Hotel at Gosaigaon in Lower Asom

Kokrajhar, Dec 27 (UNI) Six ultras, including three United Liberation Font of Asom (ULFA) cadres, were arrested from a Hotel at Gosaigaon town in lower Asom in the wee hours today.

Official sources here said based on a tip off, the Red Horn division of the Army raided Ranjit hotel of the town in the early hours today and nabbed six youths including three ULFA members.

One kg of brown sugar, costing about Rs 1.30 crores in the International market was also seized from the arrested youths.

However, there was no use of force or cross firing during the raid, the sources said.

While ULFA cadres were identified as Sumi Ram Rava, Budhadev Rava and Rupa Rava, the other three youths suspected to be the members of NDFB, are identified as Monu Basumatari, Sagar Basumatari and Sintu Musahari, the sources said.
